Modules

Business Rules Module
  • Defining specific business rules i.e. restrictions, competition, authorizations, packaged vs. unpackaged goods, related products, etc.

Pricing Strategy Module
  • Defining pricing strategy for the entire chain – target gross margin, rounding rules, minimum and maximum changes, etc.
  • Once the pricing strategy is set for the entire chain, exceptions are defined for the differing sub-levels such as franchised sub-chains, regions, stores, departments or specific items.
  • Thus, it is possible for example, to set a gross profit margin for the entire chain at 40% but to exclude the NY area to be at 50% or item 1001 to be at 30%.

Pricing Change Module
  • Defining triggers for pricing changes i.e. start date, end date, items, type of change, price or % of change.
